This Privacy Policy describes how Jupiter Gear, Inc. ("Jupiter Gear," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you visit or make a purchase from jupitergearhome.com (the "Site"), interact with our advertising, or otherwise communicate with us (collectively, the "Services"). "Personal information" means information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked with you.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. When we do, we will post the revised policy on the Site and update the effective date above. If the changes are material, we will provide additional notice as required by law.
We collect personal information in three ways: directly from you, automatically through your use of the Services, and from third parties.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies on the Site. Some are strictly necessary for the Site to function; others are used for analytics and advertising.

We work with third-party advertising platforms to show you ads for our products on their platforms and across the web, and to measure how well those ads perform. To do this, we use tracking pixels placed on the Site and server-to-server connections (sometimes called a "Conversions API" or "Events API") that send information directly from our systems to the advertising platform.
TikTok. We use the TikTok Pixel, the TikTok Events API, and TikTok's integration with Shopify. Through these tools, we share the following information with TikTok Technologies, Inc. and its affiliates:
TikTok uses this information to deliver and measure our ads, to optimize ad performance, to build audiences of people similar to our customers, and for its own purposes as described in TikTok's Privacy Policy at https://www.tiktok.com/legal/privacy-policy. You can manage your TikTok ad preferences in your TikTok account settings.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram). We use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to share similar event and hashed identifier data with Meta Platforms, Inc. See https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy and manage your preferences at https://www.facebook.com/adpreferences.
Google Ads. We use Google Ads conversion tracking and enhanced conversions to share event and hashed identifier data with Google LLC. See https://policies.google.com/privacy and manage your preferences at https://adssettings.google.com.
We may add or change advertising partners over time. This Section will be updated to reflect the partners we currently use.
We share personal information with the following categories of recipients:
We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes except as described in this policy.
Payments are processed by third-party payment processors, including Shopify Payments and the alternative payment methods we offer. When you enter payment card information, it is transmitted directly to the processor using encryption and is not stored on our servers. Our processors comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). We retain only the information needed to confirm and manage your order, such as the last four digits of your card, the card type, and the transaction confirmation.
We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including to provide the Services, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Order records are generally retained for seven years for accounting and tax purposes. Marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Usage Data collected through cookies and pixels is retained according to the retention settings of the relevant tool.
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act:
Categories of personal information we have collected in the preceding 12 months: identifiers (name, email, phone, address, IP address, device identifiers); customer records (billing and shipping information); commercial information (purchase history and shopping activity); internet or network activity (browsing and interaction data); geolocation data (approximate location from IP address); and inferences drawn from the above for advertising purposes.
Categories we "sell" or "share": identifiers, commercial information, internet or network activity, and inferences, shared with advertising partners as described in Section 4. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
How to exercise your rights. Click the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the Site footer, email us at jupitergear@icloud.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line, or write to us at the address in Section 13. We will verify your identity by matching the information you provide to information in our records. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we may require proof of the agent's authorization.
We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 days, which may be extended once by an additional 45 days where reasonably necessary.
Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws (including Colorado, Connecticut, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Virginia) may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale of personal information. You may exercise these rights using the methods above. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our response.
If you are located outside the United States, please be aware that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal information, and to data portability. Our legal bases for processing are performance of a contract (to fulfill your orders), your consent (for marketing and non-essential cookies), our legitimate interests (for analytics, security, and improving the Services), and compliance with legal obligations. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
With your consent, we send promotional emails and, if you have opted in, text messages about our products, promotions, and updates. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link at the bottom of each message, and stop text messages by replying STOP. Transactional messages, such as order confirmations and shipping updates, will still be sent as needed to complete your order.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. The Site is served over SSL/TLS encryption, and our platform provider maintains industry-standard safeguards. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. By using the Site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you have consented to allow a minor dependent to use the Site. If you believe we have collected personal information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will delete it.
The Site may contain links to third-party websites and services that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any site you visit.
